Terms of Service

Provider: Nixon Software Solutions
Product: AccessQR (Web Platform, Mobile App, and On-Premise Systems)

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using any part of the AccessQR system—including our website, mobile apps, on-premise servers, or cloud-hosted services—you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the system.

2. Overview of Services

AccessQR is a safety and traceability system developed by Nixon Software Solutions. It allows companies to manage and monitor user access in confined or hazardous areas via:

  • QR or NFC check-in/out
  • Web-based admin dashboards
  • Emergency alerts and tracking
  • Cloud, VM, and standalone PC deployments

The system is intended for professional and industrial use only.

3. Licensing and Usage Limits

Each AccessQR installation or tenant requires a valid license, identified by a unique Serial Number (S/N) and bound by the following terms:

  • Start and End Date of the license
  • Maximum number of users, doors, and areas
  • Deployment type (Multi-tenant cloud / Local VM / Standalone)

Attempting to bypass, modify, or override license limits is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension of service.

4. User Accounts & Roles

AccessQR supports multiple user roles:

  • Users – check in/out using mobile or badge devices
  • Admins – manage users, doors, and view activity dashboards
  • Superadmins – (Nixon internal use only) manage tenants and system configurations

Users are responsible for keeping login credentials secure. Unauthorized account access must be reported immediately.

5. Device & App Use

Mobile applications may store previously used configurations for convenience. Devices such as tag readers or check-in stations must remain connected and configured to send:

  • Check-in/out events
  • 10-minute keep-alive messages (battery-powered devices)
  • Emergency triggers when applicable

6. Privacy & Data Handling

AccessQR logs location, access times, emergency events, and admin actions. Data is stored securely and used solely for safety, audit, and operational purposes.

Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. System Availability & Maintenance

Nixon Software Solutions aims for high availability but cannot guarantee 24/7 uptime. Cloud-based systems may undergo planned maintenance. Local deployments are the responsibility of the client and must follow the recommended hardware/software specifications.

8. Updates & Modifications

We may release updates or patches to improve performance, fix bugs, or update security. For local installations, clients are responsible for applying these updates manually or via approved update tools.

9. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access in the following cases:

  • License expiration or violation
  • Abuse or tampering with the system
  • Security risks posed by user actions

Clients may terminate their service by written notice, subject to the terms of their contract.

10. Warranties & Disclaimers

AccessQR is provided "as is." While we prioritize safety and reliability, Nixon Software Solutions does not guarantee uninterrupted access or complete error-free operation. Users are responsible for using the system as a supplementary tool—not a sole safety mechanism.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nixon Software Solutions is not liable for indirect or incidental damages, including loss of data, production delays, or compliance violations arising from system misuse, misconfiguration, or network failure.

12. Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam unless otherwise specified in writing.
